Sunday of the Passion/Palm Sunday

The scripture lessons for the week are:

Isaiah 50:4-9a

Psalm 31:9-16

Philippians 2:5-11

Matthew 21:1-11

The Prayer of the Day: Almighty God, you sent your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, to take our flesh upon him and to suffer death on the cross. Grant that we may share in his obedience to your will and in the glorious victory of his resurrection; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Thought for the Day…. The Father gave up His son to make us His children. ~ How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! 1 John 3:1
