Prayer of the Day: Ever-living God, nothing in this world can take away your strength and might.  You are the source of all life and goodness.  Grant that we would cling to the cross of Jesus and truly appreciate his sacrifice for us.  Transform our hearts so that we might follow in the ways of Christ, loving our enemies, praying for those who hate us, and doing good to those who persecute us.  It is only through your help and guidance that we can even think of imitating Christ.  It is in his holy and precious name we pray.  Amen.
