Scriptures: John 3:1-18
Prayer of the Day: Gracious God, you are the source of all faith and hope. Grant us the power of your Holy Spirit that we would be filled with a deep, abiding faith in Christ Jesus. Help us to follow him in all that we do and to be open to the world about our trust in him. Let us seek his life and love just as you seek us and call us into a relationship with you and our neighbors. All this we pray in the name of Jesus who is the Life of the Word. Amen.

Prayer of the Day: Rejoicing Father, You celebrate when one of your lost children is found because no one is worthless to you. We stand humbled and in awe that you would count us among your most prized possessions. Scriptures: John 18:1-14
Prayer of the Day: Almighty Lord, let us be ones who seek you in faith that your light and life would fill us with peace, joy, and hearts to serve others. Grant that our words and actions would give glory to your holy name so that those who do not know Jesus would hear his name and respond to his call on their lives. Let us not respond to our enemies with harsh words or violence, but rather reply in love as Jesus did. You alone can form and shape our lives for your divine purposes. All this we pray in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

Scriptures: Psalm 122; Luke 13:1-9, 31-35
Prayer of the Day: Holy One of mighty power, Your word is powerfully dangerous. Your word casts out demons. Your word heals incurable diseases. Your word devours empires. Your word transforms the fabric of the universe. Help us to stand in awe and fear of what your word is capable of doing. Give us courage to speak your word and wisdom to hear it, for the sake of the one whose very whisper can demolish sin, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Scriptures: John 13:1-20, 36-38
Prayer of the Day: Merciful Father, just like Peter, we all fall short of our commitment to follow Christ. We sin against you and we lack the courage to follow your son when we feel pressure and pain. Forgive us for our lack of trust in you. Remind us that you are always with us, especially when trials and temptations come our way. Fill us with faith so that we might live in obedience to our precious Savior, in whose name we humbly pray. Amen.

Scriptures: Psalm 15; Luke 10:25-42
Prayer of the Day: Compassionate God, How easily you love those who look unlovable to us! How readily you welcome undesirables into your home! How slow we are to follow your example. Turn our hearts toward all who are considered outcast, shunned, and unclean so that we may love our neighbor without pity or apathy, for the sake of the one who became flesh to cleanse the world of sin and death forever, Jesus Christ our Redeemer. Amen.

Scriptures: John 13:21-28; 19:17-30
Prayer of the Day: Holy Lord, just as Jesus humbled himself to serve his disciples and others, give us the same humility to serve in his name. Teach us to put others before ourselves that your name would be praised and all would know your love. As the disciple John walked with Jesus and learned from him, let your Holy Spirit fill our hearts with the knowledge of Christ’s ways that we might imitate him, showing mercy to all we meet. We pray this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer of the Day: Lord of the Sabbath, Your followers were told not to work on the Sabbath, and yet they boldly plucked grain to show that you are Lord of all. The world tells us not to rest on the Sabbath. Show us how to rest boldly, rejecting conventions that go against your will, and instead of praying and resting as you did on the mountain, for the glory of your word and work, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
