Scriptures: John 13:21-28; 19:17-30
Prayer of the Day: Holy Lord, just as Jesus humbled himself to serve his disciples and others, give us the same humility to serve in his name. Teach us to put others before ourselves that your name would be praised and all would know your love. As the disciple John walked with Jesus and learned from him, let your Holy Spirit fill our hearts with the knowledge of Christ’s ways that we might imitate him, showing mercy to all we meet. We pray this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
