Prayer of the Day: Almighty God, graciously behold this your family for whom our Lord Jesus Christ was willing to be betrayed and delivered into the hands of sinful men to suffer death upon the cross; through the same Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Scriptures: Jeremiah 31:31-34; Hebrews 10:15-25; Luke 22:7-23
Prayer of the Day: Blessed Lord, we gather on this night when you sat at table with your disciples to keep the Passover. You knew the hearts of your disciples and saw that Judas was to betray you, yet your love did not falter and you did not shrink from your saving will and purpose. Give us confidence in your love and make us resolute in your promise so that we may know the forgiveness, comfort, and peace of your saving wounds; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Prayer of the Day: Heavenly Father, you sent your Son to know firsthand the troubles and trials of this mortal life. Quiet our anxious hearts and renew a right spirit within us that in the day of trouble, we may call upon your name and have courage. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Scriptures: 1 Peter 5:6-11; Psalm 36; Luke 22:47-53
Prayer of the Day: Kind Father, we have betrayed you and exchanged our hope for the bitterness of envy and jealousy and the shame of our selfish wills. In your goodness, do not leave us in our guilt but forgive your servants. As your Son spoke in forgiveness from the cross, help us to hear its voice call us to repentance and to the blessed gift of a clear conscience through absolution. Make us new that with the courage and strength of your love we may bend our wills and wait upon your wisdom. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Prayer of the Day: Merciful Lord, in the quiet of the night you sought a place of prayer.
